I apologize if this is an obvious question or a repeat thread, but searching for an answer on my own has proven to be fruitless.

I'm wondering about the compatibility of the instruments between systems; i.e. Wii-PS3-XBOX. Is it possible to use my Wii guitar on a PS3's Rock Band game? Could I plug the foot pedal from my drum kit into a PS3's kit and have it work?

Whenever I Google this, I get pages telling me about the compatibility of RB to RB2 or GH equipment.

Microphones will work between systems.
Drum pedals will work between systems.
Guitars and drum pads will NOT work between systems.

Exception: PS2 and PS3. You can use all PS2 peripherals on PS3, and vice versa.

There was supposed to be an adapter that would let you use Wii GH compatable instruments on the PS3 and Wii, but it was announced in November and still no show other than a few ebay auctions I wouldn't trust.

Drum pedals are interchangable?! Wish I knew this before calling tech support.

I even asked the tech person and they told me they where not. (My original PS3 pedal is non-responsive, but I have access to a 360 pedal)

Alright, I just tried the 360 pedal in my PS3 drum and it does nothing.

This means they are not interchange able OR like I supected but the tech person did not care... it's the head conection thats broken not the pedal.

This suck.

Pedals are interchangeable. Your pads are bad.

You would think their own support would know this fact.

Calling them now...
