Crow T Robot: "Your reaction--"
Tom Servo: "Uh, Mike, you're supposed to remove the cover..."
Mike Nelson: "Oh, sorry..."
Crow T Robot: "Your reaction is: DULL SURPRISE!"
An animator for UK studio Traveller's Tales has seemingly confirmed that the developer is currently working on two new Lego games, long-rumoured to be in production.
According to the CV of Charlotte Parker, Lego Harry Potter and Lego Indiana Jones 2: The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull are both in development at the Warner Bros. owned studio.
While EA has the rights to publish one more game based on the Harry Potter movies, Warner Bros. is the parent of the Potter franchise and has already put Traveller's Tales to work on other brands including Batman.
Parker also states that she has worked on a demo to pitch to Peter Jackson for a game based on the forthcoming Hobbit movies, due in 2012.
Traveller's Tales is known to be working on one other Lego title - Lego Battles - due for release on the DS this year, and had considerable success with the Lego Star Wars franchise.

I do too. The Lego: Star Wars and Indy games were all fun as hell. I haven't tried Batman yet, but I'm sure Harry Potter and LotR would be fun too. :)

I'm personally dreading the Indy: Crystal Skull one.
The beauty of these LEGO games is their ability to encompass an entire universe in a game, as has been done with the games of Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and Batman. The worlds of Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings are similarly deep and fleshed out, so I'm more than happy to play a LEGO version of those.
On the other hands. Crystal Skull would have its focus on just one movie from a series that has already been fleshed out in LEGO form, thereby limiting the material they have to work with by quite a bit.
Also, I dislike LeBoeuf :)

They were in a huge plastic tub, with all the other Legos. We just had to build them ourselves. :)

Lego Creator in '96 and Lego racer in (I think) 99' were awesome. How did you miss those. Lego creator is the best Lego game out there.
I hope they make Lego Back to the Future.

LEGO anything is awesome.
You don't have to be a kid to love LEGOs. I still play with the LEGOs I had as a kid, and many of those plastic blocks were made before most of the forum-posters here ever existed.
