Though I don't think so many full albums are needed, I'm here to support you on Modest Mouse being added.
I do love the entire album of We Were Dead, but Good News only has a select few songs I'd like to see, The View being "oh my god get that in the game NOW."
What I want from Modest Mouse:
Trailer Trash
The View
Dashboard
Tiny Cities Made of Ashes
3rd Planet
and lastly, Dance Hall.
.. Dance Hall just fits the "Rock Band" thing too well to leave out. Good News was delayed because Isaac Brock and the guys liked getting drunk and just playing the song over and over. It'd also be really interesting to see friends attempt singing. :D
edit: TV on the Radio and the Arcade Fire also rock the house, but listening really closely to them, you'd have to narrow it down to some really specific songs or I'm imagining some guitarists being bored.

I dont want the whole album of any any band up there, I was just showing the album to choose great songs from. I agree, "The View" is an excellent song, and I just wish RB takes notice of some good indie bands.

please god, no nickelback. Anyway. Some of those bands won't work because all of the parts aren't there. The really good NMH songs and Iron and Wine have no drums or bass. Good for GH, bad for RB. and the white stripes have no bassist. I guess they could be easily modified but still would not work without writing a bass line in.

When you underline them it makes me think it's a link... And I want to click those links... But I can't... Because guess what... THEY'RE NOT LINKS. GRR YOU.

I underline for emphasis that it's the Album and not other random words. And sorry for no links, go to Deezer.com to listen to some of those bands. All of them provide quality music and Indie is the new Screamo (if that was even "in" at one point. Ha, I laugh at the Screamo.) :D
