okay so we've been having a problem lately with our Fender. We pair it with slot 1, drums on 2 and mic on 3....
We can get it going....but then sometimes in the middle of the song the guitar will go off. When we disconnect the wireless adapter it says to connect it to a different slot that is already assigned to something else.

Or sometimes it will just say to connect the adapter to the same slot it was just in. And it will take a while for it to register again (sometimes maybe 30 seconds) =/
I don't get why it's doing that...It's real annoying when we can't get through songs--especially in tour mode.
This happen to anyone else or anyone know why it might be happening?

only thing i could think of is batteries or a faulty signal. Call ea and see what they tell you.

Similar issue here. Day 2 with rock band and notice random disconnect of the guitar. Need to jog over to the PS3 and press the wireless adapteur connect switch then a screen pops up saying to reconnect the guitar and I just need to connect the PS button on the guitar controller. After that to guitar is up and running again for a few songs. Should I contact EA or is there a simple fix for this?

Suggestions or adise? Post here or pm me! Thanks.

It may be that the 2.4ghz band is too crowded. If you have 2.4ghz cordless phones, try unplugging the base station and see if it gets less prevalent. If you have a wireless router with a lot of devices connecting to it, try powering down a lot of those devices. If you live in an apartment complex, there might not be much you can do...

Things that use 2.4ghz:
Cordless phones
Wireless controllers (except non-guitar PS3 controllers)
Wireless networking devices
Wireless keyboards and mice (except bluetooth and infrared)

I should follow up and say that you can sense just before it will fail. The guitar will lag on notes or hang on one or two finally just shutting itself off. It's as if the battery was dying but that is not the issue. Song continues on and you will fail unless you rush and press the reconnect on the adapteur and the PS button on your guitar. Then it will play a few more songs before failing. Very frustrating and confusing. I can't understand why it would be doing this.

I've tried moving my PS3 to allow the sensor to be in better visibiliy and away from speakers......I don't know what else to do.

Thank you. It is a good point. The network in my house is wireless. My phones are DECT 6.0 deliberatly to reduce interference. Besides that the only other wireless would be my laptops mouse in the living room. I have a corded one somewheres... I'll give it a shot. If anything else crosses anyones mind drop me a line!
