3. Final question is that when i got Rock Band I saw a Pink info sheet saying do not return peripherals to retail stores, okay got that but why did Best Buy sell me a 2 year warranty to replace all broken or worn peripherals?

1. Tilt the guitar straight up and down just like guitar hero if you have played it. If that doesnt work, you may join the broken guitar army, congrats.
2. Dont know sorry, never messed with tattoos, my rocker is clean
3. Best buy is doing that to make some extra money. If you return them to best buy now, you will most likely get another broken peripheral where as ea sends out fixed ones that shouldnt break again (guitars at least) Also, EA is a 60 day warrenty, (although it may be extended) and bestbuy gives u 2 years. They make money because your broken parts cost them nothing, they just send them back to EA. Also, most items you buy will say do not return to the store somewhere.
hope that helps a little

For the tattoos: if you put one on an arm, it might look like it is on the other arm because it saves your tattoo info. That's if you want to use the same tattoo on the other arm. If not just scroll down to an empty spot to put tattoos. I hope this helps and didn't confuse you.

I opened up my guitar and for the life of me can't figure out how Overdrive works on any of these guitars.
A small, rectangular board with a tube on each side is the Overdrive mechanism. Each tube has a ball bearing in it. Ideally, when you are holding the guitar, the balls are on one end of the tube. When you tilt the guitar, the balls slide down to the bottom of the tube, close the connection and Overdrive activates.
The problem is that the circuit board with the tubes is in a slot that is completely horizontal. That means if you are holding your guitar with the neck at an upward angle, the connection is closed and Overdrive may activate as soon as you get enough power, or it may not activate at all. That was my original problem. It looks as though you need to have the guitar neck in a straight horizontal position, or even tilted downward in order to keep the connection open.
I tested it and sure enough, if i hold the guitar with the neck tilted downward (very, very awkward), tilting the guitar will activate Overdrive. That's fine but who the heck holds their guitar that way?
I took the two screws holding the Overdrive card off and slid the card out. I angled it and used tape to hold it in place. Now when I hold the guitar with the neck angled properly, the balls remain in the bottom of the tubing until the guitar is tilted. Works like a charm.
I have one guitar to send back because Overdrive doesn't work at all no matter what tilting and shaking I did. I opened up the replacement one and did this fix and it works fine. I'm keeping it. I don't see the point of sending it back for another on that's going the same horizontal mechanism.
EDITED to add: I don't advocate doing this unless you don't mind voiding your warranty if you break something.
