Does anybody think the servers going down tomorrow morning is a sign of the new big crazy site going up?
On Launch Day, Sean told us the new site still had some bugs to be worked out and it'd be a couple weeks. Well, it's just about been a couple weeks. And in the Announcements forum, HMXJohnLok implied that the server would go down for a few hours before the new site could launch. And it's happening tomorrow morning. Boot up Rock Band and check the Community tab, it even says so there.
Strictly out of curiosity, I checked out the GH3 community page tonight. I don't own the game, I don't plan to, I have no interest in it. But man... it's pretty sweet. It got me really excited for RB's community site. If Neversoft can make a community site that intricate for what is essentially a solo player game, I cannot wait to see what Harmonix has in store for what is a legit multiplayer game with a REAL community.
I'm so pumped. My new (and hopefully improved) guitar is supposed to arrive tomorrow. If the new site launches tomorrow as well... it's gonna be like a 2nd 2nd Christmas (The first being on November 20th).
