"My Curse" by Killswitch Engage
Crushing guitars/bass/drums & a vocal track that would test anyone's limits.
"A Gunshot to the Head of Trepidation" by Trivium
Among other Trivium tracks, this one's my favorite. "The Crusade" would be really challenging, however, being it's instrumental it probably wouldn't work well for Rock Band.
"An Evening with El Diablo" by Chevelle
My favorite Chevelle track, would be perfect for those who enjoy singing & playing guitar at the same time, since their lead singer does it.
"Moon Baby" by Godsmack
One of the most dynamic songs Godsmack has ever recorded. It moves from steady grind to all out rockin'!
"Stairway to Heaven" by Led Zeppelin
Do I really need to explain? You know what, in the interest of being original, I'll pick "Dancing Days" instead. Cool?
"Fat Bottomed Girls" by Queen
Great classic, foot-stomping rock! Many would probably go with "Bohemian Rhapsody", but I like the straight forward presentation of Girls.
"Ain't Talkin' 'bout Love" by Van Halen
Definitely need to add VH, and not one of their covers. Close second for me would be "Little Dreamer". It's a nice contrast to most VH songs w/David Lee Roth.
"Black Magic Woman" by Santana
Must include Santana!
"Corduroy" by Pearl Jam
Many of you might point to a track from TEN, but I like this PJ track the best.
"Beautiful Disaster" by 311
This one would be great of 2 players could play guitar (rhythm/lead). Maybe the next time around?
"Master of Puppets" by Metallica
Among other Tallica tracks that should be available. "King Nothing" would be cool and for pure rocking out, "Seek & Destroy".
"Stream of Consciousness" by Dream Theater
Great instrumental track by DT. But if instrumentals are a "no go", I'd pick "As I Am" or "The Root of All Evil"
"Land of Confusion" by Genesis
Genesis is a classic band that should be represented and this track would be a great addition.
"Easy Lover" by Phil Collins & Philip Bailey
Totally 80's! This would be a fun one to play.
"Revolution is my Name" by Pantera
Crushing track by the cowboys from Hell. I would love to play this in Rock Band.
"Peace Sells" by Megadeth
Megadeth, Megadeth, Megadeth.
"Yankee Rose" by David Lee Roth (w/Steve Vai on guitar!)
Awesome rock song. Very cool guitar work and the song goes from silly intro, to full out rock with a great slow bridge. It would be a very dynamic piece and lots of fun for all involved.
Well, those are my two cents. Hope you enjoy. Rock on!
