band world tour setup (xbox)

So I have been playing the world tour with friends. A gripe i have is that all my friends had to make gamertags on my xbox for their characters. Is there a way around this? Can all your band members be in one gamertag? It is a hassle to get everyone logged in on the correct instrument to start. Once the game is going we can switch it around.

When first starting to play each day, each person needs to make sure their gamertag is logged in with the correct controller since they each only have one toon that is setup to the specific instrument.

Did i do this all wrong?

You can have all of your band members set up to the same gamertag in BWT. I believe just the leader needs to be signed in. However, the rockers are specifice to the gamertag they were created under. If your friends created their characters after entering their gamertags, then they will need to be signed in to use them.

Yeah, our band has all its members under one gamertag.

Yeah just create all your members on your gamertag and leave it at that. Nobody but you will need to be signed in.
