View Full Version : Save Data Problem-Wii

After playing RB2 for some time. The game was unable to save. The message said I didn't have the required number of blocks to save. After checking, I found out I had plenty of free blocks. When I started up the game again, it said no RB2 save data exists, when it most certainly does. This wouldn't be a problem, except it has happened multiple times.
Also, it only seems to happen after playing online. I want to know if I am the only one having this problem and is there anyway to fix it.

You must have a minimum of 200 blocks of Wii system memory free, to not have save issues. If you have close to or less than that, you run the risk of corrupting your save file, which it sounds like has happened to you.

Whenever it does that, try manually saving your game. It worked for me with corrupted data.

I have over 200 blocks free. Yet it has continued to happen. I thought that was the problem originally, so I freed up some space (about 275 free blocks). Still happens though.

Thanks for all your input (mostly you, keneke). I freed up quite a bit of space. I think I have about 900 blocks now, so I'll see if it won't screw up. I am a little pissed that I lost all that band data though.

With 4.0, everyone should have alot of free space. Make sure you all take the new Wii System Update (launched last Wednesday), as it helps the systems file structure with a better IOS batch.
