Rock Central Connection Issues Fixed

Hey all,

During our scheduled server maintenance this morning we applied a fix server side that should clear up issues some people have been having with being unable to connect to the Rock Central servers. To anyone who did have this issue, check to see if you can connect when you pop in the game next time, you should be good to go.

weird, because they didn't start showing up for me until yesterday. I;m talking about before you enter the leaderboards from the main menu, not the load screen.

I have actually never looked at the leaderboards, im barely hooked up to live anymore.. i thoiught u meant loading screens, you could be right then

Yes, those other facts are updated frequently when you are online.

Awesome. I'm a glutton for useless info. Do I need to know that today is the day that so and so came out with this record and sold this many copies? No, but it is damn cool to know anyway.

Let me get this straight-- after 2 solid weeks of playing Rock Band-- both solo world tour, and band world tour--- NONE of my career scores, or high scores for individual songs on solo world tour will be added to the leaderboards?!?!

Am I the only one that is bothered by this?? Basically none of the people who could ever connect to Rock Band (till today)-- are on the leaderboards for anything. I guess that makes the people on the leaderboards REALLY happy... a lot less competition for them!!

I don't think this is fair. Isn't there any solution to update us to the leaderboards? I have 6 million solo career points (from world tour)--- does this mean I have to go back and play through all the songs and levels to be put on the leaderboard where I should have already been???

EA, as the publisher, has the potential to be involved in every aspect of the game. it's just up to them how involved they want to be. we don't really know, but it is possible that they are the driving force behind fixes.

i think, in any case, that the sentiment is the same. RedOctane wants your money and after that they don't want to hear anything you have to say. this was extremely evident in the way they run their forums and handle their customers.

atleast EA seems to want their customers to be happy and are actually going to an incredible amount of trouble to get people replacements and soothe those who've been screwed by their system.
