broken drums

my rock band 2 drum set works fine with rock band 2 but dosnt work with rock band 1 it use to work fine but as soon as i moved it up stairs it dosnt respond to my sticks and ive tried everything from calibrating the settings to pluging it in down stairs and even hitting the pads harder but nothing is working on rock band 1 but rock band 2 is perfectly fine no matter where i plug it in

Not too familiar with the XBox, but I'll give it a try. Have you tried hitting the XBox button to sync?

yes the drums will turn on but when i play they wont respond to my hits but when i put in rock band 2 it works perfectly fine

Is your RB1 on the latest patch?

Then I'd get it on the latest patch and see if that helps out.

I don't know the Xbox 360 version either, but if you could import your RB1 songs into RB2, I strongly suggest you do. It's a lot more fun to have them all in the same software. Plus, you get the new better interface of RB2 for your RB1 songs. Win-Win on every level (except for the songs that cannot be ported).
