What Do You Guys Think About The Local Band Idea?

I'd love to see some local bands get into RB... Just some no-namers compete to get into the game. That'd be awesome. Maybe they could pick like 10 bands or so from a national competition. I know it's asking too much, but I just think that'd be a really cool way to get some expansion to the game.

Of course I have a local band in mind for me (my mention of IB's alter-ego in Teays Vein), but I think a competition would be a cool way to do it.

Anybody here in a band who would compete if they could?

My band is still in the making, but we would do it since we all play RB together. We just need to record stuff. I know a few Houston bands that wouldn't mind it.

I'm thinking you'd have to record in-studio and send that out to the HMX staff, but think if they opened up the early or final voting to the public. That would be awesome.
