DragonBall Z is different. But, yes, it's an attrocity and if this is used to teach the generation who have not been lucky enough to watch the actual cartoon, then forget it.

It was leaked onto the internet a few days ago. I watched bits and pieces, enough to get as much as I need from the plot.

The movie is... not good. Not exactly bad, but not good in any sense of the word. The CGI is really amateurish and the acting, for the most part, is disgusting. However, James Marsters is a f^cking fantastic Piccolo. He is a complete badass and his character was pulled off perfectly. And tbh, they didn't screw up the plot too bad! And Chow Yun-fat is an okay Roshi, even though the pervert thing isn't fleshed out.

It's worth a rent some time down the line. Hopefully the sequel will be better.
