i downloaded some songs on the wii, but when i went to play 'em it would load like normal but after it finished loading, a message pops up saying, "<song name> is out of date and cannot be restored to Wii System memory. To use the add-on content, re-download <song name> for which the license has been previously purchased." i re-downloaded songs but still have same message.
does any1 know how to fix that?

Go to the Music Store and download it again.

Make sure you have more than 200 blocks of Wii system memory free at all times when playing Rockband.

Hi,
I have had the exact same issue since i started downloading songs in january.
I have repeatedly posted this issue, but harmonix apparently doesn't care.
It's quite sad that a dev company with so much money and resources turns the other way from such a wretched bug. I mean, it effectively makes me not want to play and download any songs...isn't that how they plan to make money.
Plus, I think we can point to drm for this madness...once again the consumer suffers so that big business can make more money. I mean I actually want to give them my money. And plus I DID freakin pay for the songs, and they only will work if i redownload like 3-5 times, and then a week later, I gotta do the same thing. Insane!
By the way, what kind of sd card are you using?
I am using the original wii sd 2gb card.
