Looking forward to receving my replacement guitar today. UPS shows it's out for delivery. I will try it out and post my impressions as soon as I play with it for a bit.
Anyone else already get their replacement guitar and are happy with it?

I'm getting mine today too and drums. Too bad I'm at college right now.

I got mine last Thursday and it has been played every day, sometimes for several hours at a time, with no problems whatsoever.

Have you opened it up to see the design? It is very easy to open. Just remove the 16 screws. There is no way to tell if someone has opened it.

I got my guitar last week and it's been working alright except for the kicking into Overdrive. I tilt the guitar and nothing happens. Then, 20 seconds later, I will not even be trying and it goes into Overdrive.
I might have to return the controller (AGAIN!).

Nah, you'll probably get my drums... hehehe (see my post "Oh, the horror...") :D

Lol. That would be hilarious (and sad) if I get your drums. After reading your post now I'm scared I may get a 360 guitar instead of a PS3.

Nope. As long as it works I'm not messing with it. That and I don't really care what's inside.

Mine is suppose to arrive today too. Too bad nobody's home, I'm at work, and it's raining sideways right now and my doorstep isn't covered to well. I just hope the return box will be usable :)

Out of curiosity, those who got their new one: how did you take off the top of your old Strat? Is is just brute force or is there a method to it? I just don't want to break mine or anything.
EDIT: Nevermind, found out you're not supposed to take it off :X

Just got it and played for about 1 hour. So far so good. The strum bar feels the same as the old one, but all the notes register just fine. Probably going to open it to check the mechanism and see if it's the old or new.

Okay, so strumming seems fine with my new guitar. However, Overdrive seems to kick in with the slightest tilt and sometimes it just kicks in anytime it wants. Anyone else have this issue with the new guitars or is this one faulty?

I got mine today but I haven't tried it out yet. The only thing that sucks is there's a few stratches on it and my broken one didn't have any at all but what can ya do.
