...was extremely frustrating. Unlocked after completing the game on Veteran, Professional makes enemies react immediately to you. Almost every hit will send you into the "Dying" state and the ones that don't will generally drain your health all the way.
But boy was it satisfying when I beat it today. It took me a little over four hours. There were surprisingly only two really hard parts: the boss fight at the end of chapter five and the beginning of chapter six. Infinite ammo and magnums is a must along with the rocket launcher to save some frustration (especially true for the room before the boss room in 5-3 for those who know what I'm talking about). I don't see doing this at all on a clean save with any unmodified weapons. The good news is that Sheva is a crack-shot with a magnum and will save your butt a lot.
I really enjoyed this game, but then again I'm a rabid RE fan. Capcom is kidding themselves though with the talk about replayability. I have everything unlocked now except for some infinite ammo bonuses and it only took me about a week. My first run on Normal took 6 1/2 hours, Veteran took 4 1/4 hours, and Professional took a little over four hours.

Gratz.
I'm not looking forward to it that's for sure. That's one achievement I may pass on.

That's one achievement I may pass on.It's not too hard if you find the trigger points for the enemies and then run to a place where they can't flank or pincer you. Then you'll have no trouble taking them out. I thought the beginning of 6-3 was going to be a *****, but I found a good way to do it. Surprisingly Sheva is really useful on this difficulty. With a magnum she'll kill just about everybody.

The Wurm and I got it a couple of days ago. I think I want to try it again without the infinite ammo though, just for fun.

I do have inf Magnum (20k version)Are you already working through it or are you stuck at some point? I can see if I can help you out this weekend. I have to warn you though because my mic is on the fritz. Any magnum will work. The S&W 500 is best for bosses if you don't have the rocket launcher. Its kick-back can be a detriment against the hordes though. I used the L-Hawk for them since it has the least kick-back and can still kill most enemies in one shot.
