View Full Version : Any PS3 Rockers Completed The Endless Setlist?

I'm just wondering if anyone on the PS3 side has done it yet and can confirm this "glow" business I've been hearing about. I'd assume that it would be identical for the PS3 if you complete the setlist, but so far I've played online nearly every night and have never come across a PS3 rocker that had this fabled glow. Has anyone else seen it?

I heard that you only glow if you beat it on Expert. I was only able to beat it on Hard, and I've yet to encounter a glowing person online. I think for the time being it's harder to beat BWT on Expert, because you have to play Expert guitar with a broken guitar (no Les Pauls or X-Plorer's for us PS3 folk), or learn to play Expert drums (that's fun, until you get to Run To The Hills, and fail). If you can't do either of those, you're forced to play Bass and sing, and I don't know if many people have friends that want to sing for 6 hours in a row, if they're even able to pass some songs on Expert (some of the bonus tracks are really hard on Expert vocals, mainly because they are so unfamiliar).

So I think it's been done on PS3, just not on Expert, or at least not as much as it has on the 360, which explains the lack of glowing.

Wait, how do you get to the endless setlist? I already got the golden drum-set and thought that was it.

I think the bigger question is: what's the point?

or could be: why waste an entire day when you get nothing but a glow?

Because not to many people are going to have it & the glow is nice.

I've only seen a few other people, with it online.

Add me in game to get the Playing with the Platinum artist achievement if you want. : )

Hey King Nuclear, a little while ago you made this post, (http://community.rockband.com/vbforum/showpost.php?p=159250&postcount=13) where you said that even though your singer was playing on Medium, when you completed the setlist, you got the glow. Could you reconfirm this?

You open up the Endless Setlist on Band World Tour mode. You have to get enough stars and fans to open up the Moscow venue, then perform the Hall of Fame induction setlist. Once you've got the stars, fans and Hall of Fame gig under your belt, that opens up the Endless Setlist which is all 58 songs on the disc played in one marathon session. You can pause the game, obviously, between songs, and you can retry songs that have been failed, but you can't actually back out of the setlist once you've committed to it without a big loss of fans, I believe.

Cool, this is good to know. I'll have to give it a shot.

Hi Jaime,

You need 600 stars in the Band World Tour to be invited to play the Endless Setlist.
