how do you change your name on wii?

How do you change your leaderboard name on Wii? Its the name of my first band but I want it to be a different name. Any suggestions?

I'm curious about this too. I changed my band name from all caps to the same characters with different capitalization and the game tells me now I can't use the name online because someone else has it! Stupid computer, they're both me!

I should note, I don't actually remember now how I changed the band name. I did it a couple months ago and have completely forgotten how to do it. Stupid brain fart, sorry. :(

Your username on RB2 for the Wii cannot be changed unless you delete your save file and start over. It is a ONE TIME entry when you first boot the title. You can have as many band names as you'd like though, but only non-duplicate band names will post to the leaderboards. All solo performances post under your original username.

To change your band name, go into 'Tour', go to the band you want to change the name of, and go to 'Band Profile', there should be an option to change the name of your band in there, but as I said already... Be creative because the Wii does not allow duplicate band names for leaderboard purposes (no system does though).

Note: I made a similar mistake, my name is CHATHAM on RB2 because I was so excited booting the game I didn't notice the yellow button would give me lower-case characters (also assumed I could change it later)... I feel your pain. But you can see by my sig I've gone too far to start over.
