guitar version?

Is there a way (serial number, etc) to tell what version of the guitar you have? I'm having problems with some notes, but can't tell if its not registering or if the window is smaller than gh3 and its my fault. I hear for some people it breaks after awhile, and I'd rather be playing the drums instead of playing guitar just to see if I can break it during warrenty.

The most common issues are a "double strum" (which will register 2-3 hits very rapidly in a row off of one strum), and malfunctioning strum-bars (where they simply cease to register). If you think you are experiencing one of these issues, or that your guitar is malfunctioning, contact EA support:
