Yeah, but FCing a song on guitar and FCing a song on drums are two pretty different things. Azuritereaction mentioned while playing that only a few people have ever FCd the last drum roll of Working Man, and the rolls in this song are about twice as fast and spontaneous. I believe he also mentioned that FCing Young Man Blues would be like FCing Green Grass and High Tides while strumming every note.

Yes
It's all about repetition, really. How many times did it take you before you FC'd Painkiller?

every song is completely fc-able. just because you haven't fc'ed it doesn't mean it isn't fc-able..

Right because if Azurite said it, it MUST be true! Sorry, but he's not the end-all-be-all of drumming. He's good, sure, but stop taking his word as gospel of what's possible and what isn't.

Since the rolls are so early in the beginning, it makes it much more possible. It's a lot easier to try it over and over when it's in the beginning than having to play for 5 minutes and then mess up like if it was at the end.
I think it will be FC'd eventually. Too say a song will never be FC'd is a pretty big statement. Never question the ability and perserverance of the scorehero community. The Devil Went Down to Georgia. Need I say more?

It'll probably be FCd soon after Rock Band 3 come out.

I was happy I finally past it on expert drums. I am sure there is somebody out there that will do it someday. Not every body has this song. It is DLC and not given on disc.

Azurite also said that The Perfect Drug would be our equivalent to TTFAF on Guitar and look how fast The Perfect Drug was FC'd.
There's a little known Youtuber that's FC'd the opening to Young Man Blues at 90% speed, he's also FC'd a Gravity Blast in Visions and consistently holds combo through a large majority of the blast, I have no doubt that he's close to the FC.

Actually, he got the single, first, opening roll, that's very, very, very far from FCing the song.

Seeing as that's the most difficult part of it, I beg to differ.

Yes, I said that in terms of what was out at the time.
Here's some things to consider:
-No one's ever FC'ed any of the YMB rolls at 100%. Ever. People have been trying since it came out.
-Every other section of every other song ever released for Rock Band has been FCed to my knowledge (in practice mode), besides the end of The Camera Eye and Working Man (Vault Edition). Yet this still remains un-fc'ed.
-The Working Man roll is slightly slower than the YMB rolls, and is in a straight line (only one pad). It's only been FC'ed once.
-The YMB rolls are all over all four pads, cannot be normally RLRLRL played without having elastic limbs, and there's three of those as compared to Working Man's one.
Then you have to contend with the rest of the song which is in no way easy to FC, along with the end fills which are bizarre as well, and so far i've only seen Someguy913 hit those in practice mode, and it was only once, after many, many tries.
Gugelhupf is probably the closest to FCing it, and he's a very good RB drummer for sure, but he's still a long ways off, as is everyone else: it might get FC'ed in time, but it won't be for years.

I'm betting on impossible.
gughelpuffl or however you spell his name is the only person who's managed to FC (or come close to FCing for that matter) it on 90% speed, and he's only done that twice. Then you factor in that the rest of the song is also a huge *****, and even if you do hit the opening roll at full speed, you have to hit everything else and not make a(ny) stupid as f*** choke(s).

1.) Real drums have much better rebound than any RB, GH, or Electronic kit could ever hope to have.
2.) Doing it once does not mean he'd be able to repeat it. I could easily pick up an irl guitar and play some weird ass s*** that would probably never be FCd in a game like RB/GH just because of how random and fast it would be. That doesn't mean that I'd be able to repeat that sequence.

Well he obviously can do it at least twice, seeing as that is Isle of Wright, not Leeds. But then, I don't know if Keith Moon could FC Young Man Blues in his prime.

To me, it definitely doesn't seem like this song is the hardest to FC, considering the hardest part is at the beginning
Personally I would've said Blinded By Fear was the hardest to FC...so everybody around tried to FC it. That's basically what happened to Caprici di Diablo, no? The more people that try it, the quicker it's going to get FC'd, unless it's like GGaHT. I mean on drums, I think it's War Pigs that still hasn't been FC'd, and I think that's largely in part because people aren't interested in it because it's not one of those 'holy crap that's so insane' songs

I'm pretty sure the fact that he did it in the first place gives him license to play whatever in the hell he wants when they do it live. It's just a few crazy Keith Moon rolls, who cares if it's 100% like the album. The point is it's Keith Moon hammering the crap out of the drums.
As far as a Rock Band FC goes, good luck. I got a 5-star with the BRE and I was fricking stoked. There's just no way. It's pure insanity.

Blinded by Fear is worlds easier to FC than YMB: at least 10 or so people have FC'ed BBF, and most of the difficulty in that song is the total lack of rebound on the stock sets.
Playing BBF is much easier on a real kit, goodwoods, or ION, due to the rebound.
Also, tons of people have tried getting the YMB rolls, there's even a contest for it going on over at scorehero, and no one's gotten it yet.
War Pigs has been FC'ed. So far, only 9 songs have not been FC'ed out of all of RB1/2/DLC.

I'm curious, do you know which songs those are? Or could you set me up with a link to the info?

Yep, just check out http://rockband.scorehero.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=21074
The 9 songs, for those who don't wanna go there:
California Uber Alles
Space Truckin'
Working Man
Good Mourning/Black Friday
Visions
Working Man (Vault Edition)
Prequel to the Sequel
The Camera Eye
Young Man Blues (Live at Leeds)
And of course, whatever new DLC comes out weekly is not FC'ed upon release, but most of it generally is soon thereafter.

I still don't understand how this is a rock event.
