Microphone

I have RB2 for the Wii. My mic is plugged in but not working. It won't put out any sound!!! The problem I am seeing though, is that even without singing in to the mic and laying it on the table, I am getting awesome ratings....what's up with that?

I know for the PS3 you can adjust the volume of the sound output to the system from the mic. I would suspect the Wii has the same ability, does your manual say anything about that? (personally I'd rather not hear myself sing, lol)

I've seen reports of other users experiencing the same thing with the mic picking up the sound of the song and registering in game. Some have even put the mic in front of the speaker and passed some songs.

What's up with it, hmmm, it's a mic and picks up sound is all I can say :)
