Fixed Replacement Guitars = Same Model Number?

I just got my replacement guitar in, and it's the same model number. Anyone else get this as well ? Should I be worried?

I keep hearing about new and improved ones they are sending out however this one feels the same as the other, and it's still a Sept manufacture date, instead of october like most of the better ones I hear.

any idea if the fixed ones share the same model #?

They may have just gutted the old ones and used the shells to save money. Which would explain the same number

that could be true. im actually running an experiment for when i send my guitar in one the package comes. should be an interesting video once i get my guitar back from ea :)

Granted, there are a few posts about the replacement guitars still DOA, or faulty, but I truly believe for the most part they resolved the issue. Whether or not it's long-term remains to be seen.
I believe it's resolved because there are only a couple threads about the replacements still broken compared to the countless "My guitar broke!" threads that popped up after launch. We all know a wave of users only post when something is wrong.

Hopefully I'm not speaking too soon, and the reason why no one is saying their replacements are broken is because they havent even received a replacement yet :o
