I have an OCT17 rock band bundle, and the red and green pads (the ones of the end) of my drum kit have a rattling noise that the two middle pads don't have. They still seem to work ok on medium difficulty, but it worries me that it's ready to fail at anytime. So I was wondering, if I should get it replaced now or wait till a new model comes out and get it replaced then? Is there a new model out yet or will there be?

No one knows. If they work they work. If they don't send them back. Quite simple really.

what exactly is the replacement policy in regards to working, but rattling instruments? it works, but something is definitely loose.

The replacement warranty is only for 60 days, so you're better off sending them back now while you still can.

I understand that it's a 60 day warranty, what im asking is will the warranty cover the replacement even though the equipment is working, but it has a rattling sound like something is loose?
the rattling sound has been there since the day i bought it but i just thought it was suppose to rattle a little until i used a drum kit that belonged to a friend, and his kit sounds solid across all the pads.

Considering you have a super rare working kit, I would keep it. On the other hand, that noise obviously isn't normal, and noise is usually followed by failure. Try to get a replacement before they politely tell you to **** off.

My guitar has had something shaking around in it since I got it. I has worked great UNTIL today. The down strum is starting to not register. So I replaced the batteries and it wasn't any better. I got the game on release day and have completed the game on Medium Guitar and Drums on Easy. And have played a lot online and with family. I decided to just play the drums instead of guitar today, well the drums started not working. The Red and Yellow pads are not registering every hit. I think the website for returns should have an option that if you are having problems with more then 1 peripheral that you can do it under one RMA number and only one amount being held on your credit card for express return. So now I have $250 tied up on my credit card till they get their originals back. I could have done the empty box return but then I wouldn't have stuff to play for quite some time.
I would replace now if you know there is something wrong with the unit.

all worried about my drums, and my guitar goes out first. the down strum is all gone to crap. just went through the whole process. i'll wait till i get the new guitar before trying to replace the drum. since it's still work for now, i'll hold on to the drums, but at any sign of failure, it's going to get replaced. still love the game, and will continue to buy dlc and support it, but really wished everything was made a lot more durable.
