I've only picked up the Metallica pack and Fortunate Son thus far, but I'll be pocketing the Sabbath.

I'm really interested to see if they used the same cover for War Pigs as in GHII.

I'm definitely grabbing War Pigs. That bass chart was my favorite from GH2. Throw in the drums and vocals, and I'm just tickled pink.

I've picked up the Metallica Pack, the QotSA pack, and all the stand-alones except for Cherry Bomb so far. I plan on getting the Police and Bowie pack as funds are freed up also. Man...pretty sure I hate you HMX.

That's awesome... gives me hope they can port over a bunch of the other classic hits from GH2. Heck, they could even put in a 5 minute tamborine part and port over Freebird for all I care. :D

Any DLC by Black Sabbath I'll buy. Even the post-Ozzy stuff is good if you like metal, and the first three albums are great.

Yup. Just like the Bowie pack, and all future packs assuming there are no holidays all DLC is released on Thursday evening.

Yeah, I love playign Joker and the Thief on Guitar. The first time I failed (twice) because I was like "WHOA WTF?!" (I had never heard the song before). Now I love playing it. It's one of my most frequented DLC tracks (aside from Jukebox Hero).

I'm getting the pack the second they go live. War Pigs on RockBand is like a dream come true, N.I.B. and Sweatleaf are awesome tracks as well. On top of that I fully trust HMXs ability to cover Black Sabbath almost perfectly.

Anyone know what time we should be expecting these on XBL? 5am like the other Marketplace stuff?

Sweet Leaf is easily one of the best Sabbath tracks - anybody not getting that fails at rock.

The problem is band licensing, not notechart design, and with the known Slash/GnR association with GH3, that may be tough to come by.

I personally have a preference for the original but if you want to hear an interesting cover you should listen to Cakes cover, which there is a sample of at www.cakemusic.com.

Regardless War Pigs is the weakest of the songs coming out, with Sweetleaf being the best. Now if only we can get Black Sabbath, Sabbath, Bloody Sabbath and The Wizard on a future pack, I'll be pretty well set up.

Sabbath pack does not interest me all that much. As for the punk pack and the following weeks 3 songs, I'm much more interested in them and will probably get 4/6 songs from those two weeks.

After those are over though, I wonder what will happen next, and I wonder when we are going to start seeing full album downloads!
