has anyone succesfully used a real Bass Pedal and transitioned it into Rock Band? This would make the drums that much more fun and playable (especially the dbl strokes on Tom Sawyer..even for a long time drummer, its damn hard to hit those perfectly without the actuall rebound/recoil of a true bass pedal.)

if you are in SOCAL, and have credibility, Ill be willing to ship an old Pedal I have to you to see what you can come up with..

Use the Search function of the forum. Lots of people have done this, with varying degrees of success.

There are a couple of ways to do it... some people have wired mono mini-stereo plugs to their electronic drum kit pedals.... others have attempted using a magnet + inductor switch like the RB pedal has.

I think the best way would be to replace the spring with a tighter one *and* to reinforce the pedal (it is already too weak for the current spring.... putting in a strong spring will just make it break faster).

Or.... stop playing RB and buy an electric drum kit and play along to mp3's
