I didnt find it in any of the searchs that I did, so forgive me if it's been addressed before. How to you become able to do a Bass solo tour? Ive tried creating new rockers etc but it never gives me an option for a bass instrument. Any info would be apprieciated. :)

No more boring than any other solo...

And as long as the bass gets nothing to make it special or stand out...it will continue to be the "weak" link...and nothing could be farther from the truth.

I don't know if your money and 'free' items from completing the solo tour go with you into BWT if you choose the same character...haven't tried that yet...but if they do, then it DOUBLE sucks for the kid we have playing bass for us.

He's gonna get screwed outta the goodies that the rest of us are gonna be getting...unless he plays guitar...which as he said, "I ain't a frekin guitar player...I play frekin bass...I want solo stuff too!"

I agree its weak...if you don't want to play solo bass, don't...but give people the option to do it if they want.

if you can't play as bass when you want to why do they alow you to buy the bass guitars in the rock shop in solo mode? i mean it is right to put it in the multy player mode but in solo were u can't use it what would be the point??:confused:

The goodies that the character obtains and purchases in Solo Tour do carry over into multiplayer so say if I bought a new shirt and put it on in Solo, I'd be wearing it in BWT.

I don't know if he can obtain his own gear through the BWT or not (haven't really tried that yet) but I wouldn't rule out the possibility that he'll have to suck it up and pick guitar on easy in solo tour for a bit to dress up his guy. At least the solo mode doesn't force you to up the difficulty.

Yet to see anyone link to HMX stating Bass is "boring."

Why the fack make a game about something that is boring AND THEN MAKE IT STILL BORING. How could they understand Bass players so well as to add the Bass Groove then disrespect them like that?

Solo Career is also a fun way to practice everything while getting some decent feeling of tangible "progress" so just patch it the F in already.

I think Rock Band actually has some funky cool Bass Guitar song choices. Like Epic. I mean that is a sweet bass guitar song.

But you can't unfortunately. Just unlock the songs and play them in quickplay or online.

If you have a bass player in BWT he can access the "Rock Shop" from the band screen, so he can get all the "goodies" that everyone else has, he just won't be able to start the BWT all dressed up from a solo tour. (unless you plays through the guitar solot tour)

You can get on the Bass Leaderboards by playing quickplay.

There's no solo tour, and it sucks for a few reasons, but you can still play a bass guitar character and get some of the experience.

Here's hoping that one day they patch.
