Why is the front page of this site so obnoxious?

Guys, it's literally painful to visit the homepage of RockBand.com with it taking over the browser window and blasting music (even if you have turned it off on a previous visit, it doesn't remember..).

I don't really think it's accomplishing the goal you want, it's just annoying.

Just my 2 cents.

It's because this game is called ROCK BAND, if it wasn't really loud and in your face it would be doing the name a dis-service

I'm waiting for a huge press release on the front page addressing gameplay improvements and that the hardware warranty is being extended to 1 year.

Agree. absolutely hate it.

I also wish we can customize the skin color of the forums like PS3 forums. It's hard to browse it at work with such vivid colors :)

Yeah, it used to bug the crap out of me too, but now I just have the forums favorited. No more dealing with that video. =3

Yeah I made a bookmark too but it sucks to be forced to do that or suffer the 'punishment' of the home page.

It's a pretty well put together site overall, I just object to:

- maximizing the browser window.

- blaring sound as loud as possible. At least remember that I turned it off last time, please. Cookies, yum!
