My friend lost the part of the guitar cord that connects the guitar to the USB port. (it's disconnectable) (for 360)
So basically, now the guitar is unplayable because i can't plug it into the 360. Is there anyway to get that replaced or find another place to buy it?
Thanks.

what type of jack did the usb cable have on the end that plugged into the strat? if EA is unwilling to supply you with a replacement cable, you could probably buy a USB caable and splice your own jack.

It didn't plug directly into the guitar, it was a little cord at the end, that had a round shape on one end, and the USB on the other.

your friend just needs to look for it harder. also, he could send in for a "replacement" guitar and just keep that piece when returning the "faulty" guitar

I know the part you mean. It is basically there so if someone trips on a cord the console wont come flying off the self. Microsoft requires this for all corded controlers.
You can buy a usb extender cable for the 360 controler and it is basically the round part on one side with the usb on the other. Dont buy a pc one, buy the one for the 360
