Then you need to request a transfer cable from Microsoft. In fact, I don't think Microsoft offers them as a standalone anymore. If this is the case then you'll just have to get a memory card and transfer all your save data and re-download all your DLC to the new hard drive. You can also transfer your profile with a memory card. Saved game data is typically 2-4 MB and sometimes as small as 128 KB. Your profile should only be 10-20 MB. My profile with around seventy games on it is 26 MB.

Here's the form you want (http://assets.xbox.com/en-us/support/MigrationKit-OrderForm.pdf). Transfer kit should arrive pretty soon, and it's an easy operation.

I thought the Elites came with a transfer cable?

Sadly no, you have to send away for one when you get an Elite.
The cords come with the standalone 120 gig drive, though

Seriously? $400 and they don't even give you the damn transfer cable? What a bunch of ***holes...

Yeah, I was irked when I had to send away for one, but from a business perspective, it makes sense. Not everyone that gets an Elite is going to be transferring their stuff from an older hard drive, so why add to the cost of the package (however minutely), when people that need it can just send away.
But yeah, devil's advocate: how much can a damn cord and CD cost.

I personally wouldn't spend the extra money just to get a special version of the console when I already have a perfectly working one which Microsoft will replace for free anyway. I got my launch-day console replaced literally the day the warranty on those expired with one manufactured November 2008.
