At this point it is obvious that there is a major problem, should i just send it in and hope that it works or should i wait to see if they fix the problem?

I got my replacement set today, works like a champ. Not saying that's a guarantee...but they are out there.

I just got fed up with my broken replacement set, taped the red head, and beat hard. Give it a shot. :)
