drum pedal strange issue

hi all, yesterday i connected my rock band 2 drum set on xbox360, the pedal started to act strange: is like it's constantly pushed, even if the cable is not plugged in. Can anyone help me?

Having the same problem here, just started today. I'm on ps3.

I've been having the same problem for a while on my 360 drums. The only thing is, the pedal does have to be plugged in. For me, at least, it's not an issue with the pedal itself, as I can use it with my Rock Band 1 drums (which finally gave out today - R.I.P.). I'm probably going to have to drop $90 on a new set, I guess :(
