Dookie would make a great DLC album. Whether you like them or not they are more deserving to be in this game than some of the bands who already are. And i doubt they would have a problem with it since they supported Napster.

Some Green Day is good, but not all of it. What are the songs on that particular CD?

Burnout, Longview, Welcome to Paradise, Basket Case, She, When I Come Around. maybe you've heard a couple of them once or twice.

I'm kind of surprised they didn't have a song on this game to be honest. I'm not their biggest fan but if any rhythm game was going to have Green Day on it I would have figured this would have been it.

I hope "Greed" was just a typo

Some of the stuff from american idot wasent bad sure songs like american idot, holiday, and Bulavart of broken dreams suked but what about songs like homecoming, St. jimmy, and Jesus of Suburbia. they are great i would love to play them on rock band mostly cause i can't remember all the chord changes on real guitar

still the old green day was one of the last punk bands around

Green Day supported Napster? When was this? Were they for people getting their music for free?

Green Day supported Napster? When was this? Were they for people getting their music for free?

from the MTV website:

"MTV: Are you guys worried about this whole Napster thing? The album's probably on there right now.

Billie Joe: I don't know. I've never even been on Napster before. I'm computer illiterate, you know.

Mike: I like tangible things. But any way people can get the music in their ears, that's fine. But I collect old 45s and play them a lot at home.

Tre: I collect different medicines.

Mike: There's always that. They're tangible."

They didn't openly support it, but they didn't hate it either. They seemed at the time to be more preoccupied with other things. But yeah, As much as Green Day is my favorite band, none of their albums would work as a DLC, with the exception of a slightly revised International Superhits. A 3 Song pack that would work would be Minority, Jesus of Suburbia, and Hitching a Ride... and possibly a Dookie pack with When i come around, Long View, and Welcome to Paradise. As much as i love the non single stuff (Kerplunk being my favorite album ever) it really wouldn't sell to the non-hardcore fans. And wanting to see bands i like succeed and actually do well for themselves is what keeps me from actually being a "punk" :D

You seem to have a love-hate relationship with this band....or possibly you suffer from MPD

It would be awesome if they put Green Day in Rock Band. Dookie and American Idiot would be perfect albums for the game.

Do you want verbose?

I am sorry to inform you that your previous statment was foolhardy at the maximum. I must now inform you that your statment was a utter failure and I believe that your slack name shall from this day forth be failure gentleman whom fails quite horribly.
