Let's talk about stealing folks? Whether it's the solo in this song (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ciBpob-Lo4A), which later was used in this one (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wfagvcwjLyE), which served as inspiration for this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e_LQU2-GOXY), music begets other music often times, sometimes blatantly or unintentionally. Many times without credit.

Famous/Blatant Examples
Violent Femmes middle 8 using Willie Dixon (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5gjsd7a02Zw)
Tone Loc ripping Alex Van Halen's tom break from Jamie's Crying (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=387ZDGSKVSg)
Almost all Led Zep. songs on their first two albums (no videos)

Post some!

I have one with credit ;)
This (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rNQRfBAzSzo) which was copied (while the lyrics were changed) into this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JmEEnWEaeRk) and was later covered and turned into this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4fTzmW2qanA)

I'm talking about theft of music/lyrics. Queen was credited on Weird Al's.

Bad Brains' song Fearless Vampire Killers had the intro ripped from it and made into the main riff in Last Resort by Papa Roach.

There are similarities, but most of their songs after that were original.

On the subject of "homage" (theft) by Zeppelin, I was listening to a local oldies station the other day when a song came on that had a saxophone solo that sounded exactly like the opening wails in "Immigrant Song", of course, both sound notably similar to the song "Bali Ha'i" from the musical, South Pacific, so maybe it's just one of those "viva la vida"-esque melodies that just pops up in various places out of pure coincidence.

I'm actually a fan of Oasis, but you can't get through any two of their songs back to back without encountering stuff swiped from The Beatles, The Who, T Rex, the Velvets, and a dozen similar predecessors.
