can you help me download my bands data (characters) & purchased songs to my new xbox?

I got a new xbox and want to download my band's data; such as the characters I've created and so on. Also, is there an easy way to download all my purchased songs at once instead of downloading one song at a time?:)

If you still have your old Xbox or even just the Hard Drive, you'll need an official Xbox 360 Memory Unit to transfer your Save Game Data file over to your new Xbox. That's the file that contains your characters and bands. Without that MU, you cannot do it.

As for the songs, you can log into http://live.xbox.com/ and setup a download queue there. Once you've done that, the next time you turn on your 360, it will start downloading all those songs. If you do it through the XBL Marketplace on your X360, I believe you can only queue up 6 at a time.

yes but there are two versions.

silver xbl - free membership and you can buy dlc

gold xbl- costs roughly $5 or less a month allows online multiplayer and buy dlc

I downloaded a song to my new xbox from my old - more human than human- It plays when I'm on xbox live, but it doesn't play when I am unplugged from xbox live. Does anyone know why?

Because all of your DLC is tied to the Xbox on which it was originally purchased and downloaded. If you have a new Xbox, you'll need to perform a license migraiton.
