Hey look, it's you! Why you're here, see if you can answer this here question.
Ever since about 3rd grade, I've wanted to play the ol' drumses. That dream never came about until I bought Rock Band in that crazy year o' 07, and ever since then I have been quietly putting my wooden nickels aside for a drum kit. I have reached a point where I am about ready to purchase (in the 0-400 dollar price range preferably). Since these would go in my small room in my small house, an electronic kit seems logical. Though through all of my studies, good elecronic kits seem upwards of my price range. Not to say that I'm ruling them out, but it leads me to what my questions is. Were I to get an acousitc set (I've got my eye on a couple), how would I go about dampening the sound a little (Darkside brought this to my attention a few months ago)? As I understand... pillow in the bass drum? Do I just buy some of these (http://www.zzounds.com/item--HHQSOPAK)? RIDDLE MEH THAT JOHNTHADRUMA!
