RB1 PS2 problem on PS3

Hey guys, I was hoping you could help me with a little issue I've been having.

I Bought RockBand (PS2) today, and decided to play it on my PS3 (60GB, Hardware B/C, 4 Front USB Ports)

Anyway, the game is great, but the issue I've been having is when I connect the wireless guitar to the PS3, the game glitches and keeps disconnecting the microphone and freezing the game.

So far its only done it when I connect the guitar...I've tried using the USB Hub that game with the game, and also just plugging the instruments into the PS3 directly via the front USB ports.

Is there any fix for this and is anyone having these issues as well?

Hmmm thats a weird one...I'd say its a random backwards compatibilty glitch.Try putting some fresh batteries in the guitar,Moving the mic to a different USB port,Charge you're controller...etc...

Also...Why would you buy the ps2 version RB1 insted of a PS3 version which would have been exportable?

Ok I've kinda isolated the problem.

The problem happens when I start the game.

When I'm in the XMB the little red light for the guitar is on and the guitar is responding, but as soon as I click to start the game, the light goes off :(

Any solution?

I've tried connecting the USB while the game is running, but no response.
