Gold bass guitar help!

I finished the Impossible Bass Challenge, but I didn't get the gold bass guitar. I only got the Ultimate Punk Outfit. I got the gold guitar from the Impossible Guitar Challenge, so why didn't I get the gold bass?

If anyone can help me, please respond.

Unfortunately, there is no gold bass. The Impossible Bass Challenge rewards you with The Bomb Bass. It should be in your closet.

did you look in your instruments. you should get the bomb bass

Did you already have the Bomb Bass? Also, you have to be playing as the instrument of the challenge to be rewarded the instrument. If you were playing the Impossible Bass Challenge on guitar (or drums or vocals) then you'll only receive the outfit.

I played it on Bass and I still didn't get the guitar, only the outfit. I was pretty sure it was bass I played.

I just re-did the challenge and still no Bomb Bass. The only basses I have are the default, one of the double-necks, the Lightning Bolt, and the Fallen Angel. My mom and dad did the challenge too, and neither of them got the Bomb Bass either.

This has me scratching my head. I've been keeping track of in-game rewards my characters have received so I know who still needs to get whichever items. I was going to share the complete list of rewards on the forum but now I'm wondering if there are some differences between the consoles - particularly the Wii.

I just played through the challenge with a character that hadn't done it yet and, again, received the Bomb Bass. I'm pretty sure difficulty level doesn't matter but just in case I played through it on Hard this time (having previously played through it on Expert).

Did either of you get anything? Maybe some other bass instead of the Bomb Bass? What difficulty level were you playing on?

I played it on Hard the first time and Medium the second time, and didn't get the Bass either time. But it shouldn't matter what difficulty level it is, because I played the Ultimate Guitar Challenge on Medium and got the gold guitar.

Also, I was looking around the forums, and apparently two other Wii players had the same problem (beat the Ultimate Bass Challenge but only got the outfit). It could be something with the Wii versions...

The gold and clear instruments are part of the tour, as far as I can remember. I got the gold and clear instruments with the hall of fame induction and another somewhere around that area. But not the endless setlist ( I still have yet to find the time to complete the endless set part 2)

The bomb, I do believe is actually in the challenge mode though. Or is it the goat head? o.o I can't remember -_-

I have no clue why you haven't picked it up if you have done them through with bass, however.

It's the Goat Head. If you beat the Impossible Marathon 2 you get the Goat Head guitar.

I know you get the clear instruments beating the Rolling Stone Rock Immortals list, but the gold instruments are part of the Impossible Challenges.
