If so how is it and where did you buy it cuz I can't find it anywhere but online.

I've checked Best Buy, Target, Circuit City no one carries it in store.

There's a Rock Band game guide? What the hell? What can you guide anyone to?

I will tell you in advance don't blow the cash. Buy some new tracks instead. :D

Yeah here's the link on Best Buy.

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8624866&st=rock+band+game+guide&lp=1&type=product&cp=1&id=1193451899359

It's only $9.99 and it's supposed to give expert tips or whatever.

I guess its better than the GH2 guide. All that was was the notechart for everything on Expert.

Haha, this one seems a lot better!

I did a search and it says its now carried at the Best Buy closest to my house, I'm gonna go by tomorrow and see if this is infact true. For $10 it can't hurt, might improve my game play a ton which is something we all could use.

I just wanna know if the guide shows you what gets unlocked when you beat a certain song. I don't want to have to waste my game money on clothes that I'll eventually get for free...like those thousand dollar jackets.

Or it might keep your drum kit from wobbling on that uneven carpeting.

Why would you ever suggest "just a note chart" to be something not worth getting?

I'd pay $10 for the note charts of every song. You can analyze sections outside of the Practice mode context so you have a complete awareness of the song, as well as being able to set up overdrive paths.

I'm a firm believer of "why buy a game guide when you can get 10x the information on the internet" camp. Unless the game guide has cool art, like the Bioshock and Final Fantasy ones. =p

they're available for free at scorehero forums I'll grab a link

edit: here http://rockband.scorehero.com/forum/index.php?c=4
these are transcribed.

there's even expanded note charts with optimum overdrive timings.

My wife and I bought the guide.

It's basically a rehash of the game manual but also has information on the songs and shows all the tidbits you usually see on the loading screen.

I wouldn't have bought it for 20 bucks but at 9.99 I figure, why not? I'm the kinda guy who likes to have those things just for the sake of having em anyway.

We got ours at Circuit City and I believe I saw them at GameStop also.

Well, for one, you'd be paying for the convenience of not having to run to the computer or print out your own guides from the downloaded transcriptions.

Secondly, I was unaware that they finally got the site up. I checked last week, I didn't really see anything on rockband.scorehero

Glad they got that working. Thanks for the link :D

The guide ain't bad for $9.99 it has the "developers" score for all the songs, diffrent kind of tips for all the instruments I dont own the guide I just read it at Gamestop before I could buy the game.

That's the only reason I bought the guides for Heavenly Sword and Okami. :D

$10 isn't bad though if it has some help for the drums I'd be all over it.

Exactly what kind of "help" are you expecting or wanting to find in this game guide? Everything you want to know about proper drum techniques can be found on Youtube or various Google searches for free.

There's no magic "make me a better drummer" button. It takes practice and proper technique, that's it.
