Tried signing on a minute ago, and i come to find that a message popped up saying that my Rockband file is obsolete and asked if i wanted to start a new save or continue without saving......Well i go under a different name and all is fine, and then sign in with my main account and it says "This user file was saved in an older version of the game."
Weird thing is i played it a few hours ago just fine. So anyone know what i can do?

I'm not sure why you have to know.....but if you must it's the 360. I felt that the playstation version would be less populated online so i went with 360.

Because it makes troubleshooting easier, some of the games 'glitches' can vary from platform to platform.

*slaps forehead* Are you serious? Do you want help? You do realize that every systems RB2 is essentially a different game, right?

Not really, i just thought the only difference was the one they had to make in order to make each version compatible with a certain system, but anyway i just took a guess and thought that it said it was obsolete do to me quitting out after a song by shutting off the 360 and i guess it was doing an autosave.....either way there was no way around it....I don't mind creating a new character or band.....but the hell of unlocking the songs again is brutal.

I think the shutting the game off without exiting to the main menu or waiting for the save to finish is what caused the file problems.
As to unlocking, go to Challenges in Tour mode and do the decades challenges, quickest way to get all songs available.
