Metallica to debut new single in "Rock Band"?

Dunno if this has been posted yet.. i've been seeing it around on alot of game websites today

Check it out though.. that would DEFINITELY be huge for Rock Band if they can make this happen..

the article basically says that Metallica's new single may premier on Rock Band by being DLC.. meaning before you can hear it anywhere, you can PLAY it while listening to it for the first time!!

some are speculating this could be the "big news" harmonix has been talking about as well

what do you guys think?

ohhh my fault..

I'm sure it'll be new to some people. Joystiq can be slow with their news (compared to rabid fanboys like me who watch for every piece of information).
