SD Card not readable on my friends Wii

I'm hoping someone can help me out with this. I downloaded some songs to 2 different Wii compatible 2GB San Disk SD cards. Everytime put either of the SD cards in my friends Wii I get the error message "Disk not readable" and the songs never appear in the song list. I was wondering if the DLC songs have a licensing issue where they can only be played on the Wii the songs were downloaded from? If not does anyone have any suggestions as to what would cause this error message? Thanks.

I just want to know if it is even possible to play dlc songs I save on my SD Card on my friends Wii? If so is there anything special I must do to be able to do so?

The DLC is locked (via DRM) to the console it was purchased on. GHWT is the same way.

Just take the unit to your friend's house and use his controllers, sensor bar, etc. I've done that.

I had a sinking feeling I would have to take my Wii my friends house. I figured it had to do with the DRM. Thats no biggie. Thanks for the help.
