Why does it not surprise me that someone who named themselves after Coldplay likes this song/band? :) Very similar in style to Coldplay, Keane, etc.

Not attacking ya, it's just not my cup o' tea. The guy's voice reminds me too much of the ever-whiny Dave Matthews :)

Well, I like Coldplay, although it's not my favourite band at the moment.
Yeah, Editors are similar to Coldplay, but not very much, I think they have more of Radiohead than Coldplay. And Keane is even more different since Keane almost only uses piano.

Anyway, I love the guitar in this song and the end is so awesome, when the background vocals appear... argh... just amazing.
And I would also love to sing this. I want a song like this in Rockband. I want this song in Rockband!

OMG, Smokers Outside The Hospital Doors is going to be available in the next Singstar Store Update for, well yes, Singstar.

It's kinda a waste, since you can only sing in Singstar but this song would be so awesome for Rockband. An awesome band experience.

I would actually like every Editors song, but this one is definitely the best!!

Well. The End Has A Start is one of the songs I like the least on the album. I still like it but not as much as most of the other songs. When Anger Shows would be awesome.

gotta agree with you all, im a huge fan of Editors. Have both their albums and eagerly await a third album. All of their songs are great, i dont dislike any of them.

Yeah, I think you can compare them quite good. You definitely have to check out their albums, especially An End Has A Start.

I think "All Sparks" would be better for drums than guitar, in all honesty. "Munich" might be a good choice. The drums are fairly challenging with the triplet and sixteenth note beats on the hi-hat and that guitar trill during the chorus would be somewhat challenging. "Smokers" has a pretty good bass line and a lot of variety in the guitars, and a fairly challenging drum beat.

I'd actually be happy with any of those.

I don't think that Smokers is easy to FC. They use those fast Creep like guitar parts in it, and it's not so easy to hit those perfectly. And I just love When Anger Shows and Weight Of The World. I can't listen to them right now, since I'm at work, but if I remember right, they have some great guitar parts too.

I'll +1 the bump for Editors. If we can get Maximo Park DLC, we should be able to get Editors. I think this band would surprise a lot of people who gave it a chance. You might not be a fan of the band or know who they are before, but I think a lot of rock fans would like them after they gave them a chance.

I still think a lot of their songs would make for good note charts in the game.

Just looked into The Editor's latest album "An End Has a Start"

It brings back good memories of earlier last year... when I first heard them and loved Smokers Outside the Hospital Door and An End Has a Start

Last year was perfect... really great.

I want some Editors...a nostalgic kick and great songs

Munich, Bones, and Smokers Outside the Hospital Doors. This band is completely loved all throughout the UK and Britain. Of all the indie bands to recommend, I'd definitely place Editors as one of the best.

Hopefully Editors would accept an offer to submit songs to RockBand. Could you imagine the drumming, though? Ed Lay is notorious for 16th note hi-hat riffs at rather impressive tempos. Chris loves to tremolo pick on top of that, and Tom is an awesome singer. I'd imagine most of their songs fall into the "Nightmare" difficulty. :D

I pretty much fell in love instantly, although at the time I wasn't too fond of Tom Smith's facial expressions and dancing on stage. He looked like he had some serious autism.

The thing about Editors is that they're big in the UK and Britain. The US has been really slow in catching on to the indie rock scene. I think it's b/c a large majority in the ever decaying US culture are still hooked to that cliche rap/hip-hop bonanza.

God, I can't wait for that phase to die. I have a strong feeling that we'll all look back on it twenty years from now and laugh at it just like we do with the 80's retro generation.

I haven't heard An End Has A Start~ but The Back Room was to me one of those perfect albums Indie albums from the first time I heard it, just as was the case when I first heard Turn on the Bright Lights. If I had to pick one song for DLC, it would be All Sparks.

Yep. Also, I play GH at times and I already played Munich. For drummers with the ION kit this song will be more fun in Guitar Hero than in Rockband. Why?

Because Activision charts the songs Yellow - High Hat even when there are really fast high hats. This song has very fast high hats and that's why it's perfect for the ION drums since you can actually play this song on the high hat. HMX would chart the high hat to RED which means you can't play it on the high hat of the ION.

I'd prefer Smoker Outside The Hospital Doors in Rock Band anyway.

"Papillon" is a good song. It is very synth-poppy as Jayou said, a lot of parallels with Depeche Mode
