The irc chat is waaay better than the xat one. I've been having a lot of fun in there. I usually have both chats open but the only thing going on in xat is a bunch of 13 year old boys swearing and talking about jizz...if anything at all is going on in there. It's all about drama. The IRC chat is much more active, and mature even though there are many under 16 in there as well. It's like comparing a middle school boys locker room to a nice classy 21 and over lounge.
