RB2 Drums 2 quick question

I just bought RB2 for the XBOX 360. And first of all- it's great. However, I had some issues with assembeling the drum kit. So:

1. How high can this be? Because when I put the top piece (the four pads) it had to go all the way down to get it locked so it's like half a meter high.

2. The green and red pads are not "locked" to their bases. I mean, there is a little space between the top (the circle with the pad on it) and the "box" it need to "sit on" so you can see a little bit of what's inside (unlike the yellow and blue which are closed perfectly).

So, can anyone answer my questions please or maybe give me a link to a more detailed instruction guide?

1. Mine can be about a metre high. The two vertical support bars slide one inside the other. There are two locking clips that should lock them in at the height you want.

2. Are the pads loose? Can you move them around easily? If so, check the bottom of the pads to see if the rubber 'feet' on the bottom of the pads are through the base. If they aren't, put pressure on the pad to pop the rubber feet through the base.

Yeah. Those rubber thingies are in place, but even if I'm presuring the pad and those things go down, the minute I let go the go right up again and don't lock...

Sounds like they're not locking in place. Try a little more pressure, it can take a bit to get the ends to pop through.
