Linkin Park, is not Emo. Nowhere Near Emo. I dont know where you get your facts from, but lp is one of the most sucessful rock bands of the the 2000's.

Provide me with solid evidence and I'll believe that. Fact is, Linkin Park can play music and so can countless other bands, so they're all better than me. Now, see, here is where it gets tricky. I think Mastodon is garbage. I would rather listen to Linkin Park over them any day. Doesn't mean I worship the ground they walk on or want to see them in Rock Band. Both bands (Mastodon and Linkin Park) wouldn't suit Rock Band, in my opinion. :)

Linkin Park isn't terrible. They're certainly better than Fall Out Boy.

They're just not that good. They're mediocre. They're a flash-in-the-pan. They're forgettable. They're not worth attaching to a video game with mostly quite good music.

Honestly, in ten years, people will probably never want to remember them. Many of us already do (particularly those in the AMV community).

If you played it in Rock Band, you'd quickly realize how not good it is when you find yourself strumming the same chords over and over again and realize how ridiculous the lyrics sound coming out of your own mouth.

Oh, and somebody said that LP was good because they made money. So did Britney Spears. And so do rappers. Sorry, money != quality.

Oh and Linkin Park isn't emo. They're not whiny enough and I can actually imagine some of them having girlfriends.

Wow, I did not expect this to still be in the top few threads a couple of days later. I like Linkin Park and would download anything they put on RB from Linkin Park. They have to put a huge selection on all different types of music for DLC. Some people love LP and some hate them. If you hate them, who cares? Honestly, if you don't like them don't download them, it's that easy. That is just in the situation of them even being put on for DLC. Like several poeple have already said, it's DLC for a reason, it's not an update to where you have to have it. You can download it as an option with your own money.

Bring on LP, they are very good. When their music came out, there was nothing else like them out there and there really still isn't. I saw them before they were even mainstream, you only have to see them live once to love them, their shows are awesome. They are no where near emo. If you do not like a band don't flame someone else who likes one when they never flamed you for your tastes.
