I have a Sony Projection TV. It is a LCD projection TV. I figure I could use any one of three settings for Lag
1)LCD
2)Projection TV
3)DLP - the one that is most similarly marketed against the LCD Projection

Any Idea which should be the default?

It's LCD so try that first, normal projection tv's have bulbs they aren't lcd, i'd say it fits under lcd....but i could be wrong...try all 3 see which is best for you or do manual calibration

I'd say just do a manual calibration

Depending on the model year, you may not need a calibration. I have a 4 y/o Sony Rear projection HD 1080i tv and all Gh games as well as RB work flawless... Now my plasma thats another story... that took awhile and i had to do it manually.

I have a sony rear projection LCD also, I picked DLP and mine works great with no lag issues.
