Quick Question

I've only gone through the Drums on easy up till now, but I've started working on guitar on hard. If I beat the game on hard is it going to unlock the easy and medium achievements, or do I need to play all the way through those as well. Thanks for your help......:D

No you don't have to play through the earlier difficulties to get those achievements. You can play through hard and get easy and medium.
