How does War Pigs compare to the GH2 version?

somewhat similar, but somewhat different. solo moves that one cluster up a fret so instead of r/y/b its o/b/y

It is a new recording... slightly different in style than the GH2 version.

For my money, the cover vocalist is more "authentic" to the true style of the song in Rock Band. I'm sure others will have their opinions.


Note chart wise the guitar part is similar in style without being a carbon copy.


The big rock ending is incorporated into the song well I think.


All in all, I was pleased to buy it... even singing along as I played guitar.

I agree, i've def been pleasantly surprised w/most of the covers.
but especially THIS pack, they got a vocalist who at least has alittle ozzy in his voice and it sounds more like the original instead of trying to put a new twist on a classic (which I hate personally)
