compatible with the ion kit?

Hello... I know that there is a topic out there with parts that are compatable with the ion kit but has anyone looked into this or know if the double bass or cymbols will work if plugged into the the ion brain? I know the site says its not meant to be played with rock band but that doesnt mean it wont work.

Actually that's exactly what that means. The cymbal will work with RB just fine with the Ion controller, but the kick pad will not. You would need a Kickbox to use that with the Ion controller:

oooo ok thanks! So will it work like it should or does it work only if one isnt pushed down all the way... I heard that some of them dont complete the circuit and in order to register your kicks you cant just hold one side down... you have to always have one up.

No, it's a real kick trigger. It will register anything you do to it, regardless of what position the pedals are in.
