Granted, I know he isn't the same stature as alot of the Rock Bands stuff- but it might help bring in a different crowd, not to mention some of his stuff ( D*** in a box, Sexyback, My Love) are pretty fun/decent songs that some people may get a kick out of.

Not busting on the guy, but I expect that you will get the same lambasting that the country fans are getting.
"Like...dude...that's not rock man...dude....man....JT sucks."
Something along those lines.

Yea, and to be honest I expected that when I posted it, and I understand the point of view.
This isn't Country Band, or Former Boy Band...Band. It's Rock Band.
But with that said, I think a select few of his songs fit into the rock (esq) genre, plus who wouldn't want to sing D*** In a box- Honestly?

You could probably find him on singstar. Since pop music isn't very intrument friendly

Dude, the voccals are lame, and, as far as I'm aware, the drums, base and guitar are non-existent. Its called Rock Band, not Boy Band.

No, not JT. He's not even rock. He's not even music. He's not even good...

If they used any of JT's live **** it would be fun for the whole band. He doesn't play with samples (anymore), but with a full backing band. He even lets them do their own solos and ****. Plus, singing would be frigging rough!
But, I agree. Regardless of the fact that its popular to hate JT, he is the ONLY pop artist who has a clue what hes doing, and I would love to see him on RB.
My initial reaction is like "Wow, NO! period!" That's blasphemy, this is Rockband, not pop band. Sing Star people can go else where. Like I said I can't seem to decipher any sort of drum/guitar track from 90% of his songs.
Then I thought about my g/f how she said she wants more pop-ish songs, then I think I might actually put up with listening to that talentless clown's puke if that's what it takes for her to get more involved in the game. However if we do get pop songs as DLC I would rather have it be artists like Christina Aguilera, John Mayer, but definitely not JT and his crap.
So what do we do? Try to appeal to the masses and possibly improve social life at the sake of rocker's dignity or..... Stick to online play with with other lonely rockers...

We should get more trash available to make our social lives better. That's the point of this game, IMO.
